Masats is expanding its line of lifts with the KS8, a hydraulic lift for high-floor coaches which can be raised up to 1,882 mm. This model, which descends to reach the floor, is designed for installation below the vehicle floor in a wheel arch or luggage compartment.
The lift safety was taken into careful consideration. The system features a semi-automatic bridge that perfectly connects the lift platform to the vehicle floor. There is an automatic barrier around the outside of the platform to protect users from falling or involuntary rolling. The electronics also feature a diagnosis system.
The side protection handrails are manual for deployment by drivers. The entire system control is quite simple using a control panel next to the lift.
The KS8 lift can raise up to 350 kg. It has also been officially approved for the US market as per DOT Public Use standard for up to 272 kg, given the different safety coefficients applied.
It is a very robust and compact lift that offers people with reduced mobility the utmost comfort and safety.
The lift is already under mass production.

With this lift, Masats is completing its mobility line for coaches as it already offers the KS7 lift in the stair and luggage compartment version and the KV5 vertical lift for dedicated doors.
